Mental health board seeks two new members

Fire destroys tractor during harvest

Fire destroyed a John Deere tractor on Saturday during harvest of a field owned by Wes Anderson, near Kenney. Kenney Fire Department fought the blaze, which fully engulfed the tractor. DCRA receives donated hotel items

Clinton Journal sees increase in readership

CLINTON -- Clinton Journal readership has increased by more than 10 percent, according to Katy O'Grady-Pyne, general manager of the twice-weekly community newspaper.
Based on numbers reported in the newspaper's annual Statement of Ownership, which newspapers are required to publish each October, paid circulation, from October 2013 through October 2014, increased 10.2 percent.
