CHS hosts Illinois Drill Team Regionals

CLINTON -- Individuals, drill teams and Pom squads from all over the state converged on Clinton High School (CHS) on Saturday, January 17.  The event was a regional competition with trophies on the line along with bragging rights and earning enough points from the judges to earn your way into the state competition later this month.

CLINTON -- In what was originally scheduled as 7th and 8th grade volleyball matches on Saturday, January 18, became a three-grade volleyball outing.

CLINTON -- The Clinton Junior High boys basketball team returned to home action on Saturday, January 3, after the holiday break.  The Maroons were facing the Mt. Pulaski Bruins in two late morning games.

WILLIAMSVILLE / RIVERTON -- During the holiday break this season, the Clinton High School varsity teams played in a couple of out-of-town basketball tournaments.

CLINTON -- Clinton High School's Lady Maroons took the home court for the first time in the new year on Saturday afternoon, January 3.  The varsity and junior varsity were playing the Pana Lady Panthers.  This was a good afternoon to be inside since the weather outside was rainy and cold, but no ice, thanks.
