CHS Lady Maroon’s volleyball staying tough for every win

CLINTON -- With the new season, the Lady Maroons volleyball varsity team had a daunting task.  They needed to move ahead from the loss of several key players to graduation. 
The team has struggled to find the right fit of players to work together on offense and defense. In fact, all of the volleyball teams are struggling for every win.

CJHS Lady Maroons win in Regional

CLINTON -- On Wednesday, Sept. 9, the Clinton Junior High School Lady Maroons' softball team headed into regional play against the Heyworth Hornets at Heyworth. 
The game was an engaging battle between two very good pitchers, with Josie Boyer pitching for Clinton.  Boyer pitched the entire game while Heyworth went through three pitchers.  Heyworth sent in a new pitcher

CLINTON -- The Clinton Maroons had an exciting home opener football game that began Friday, September 4 and ended ...on Saturday.   Lightning brought an unwanted postponement of the game, but the continuation of play the next day also brought a continuation of Clinton's winning performance.
