Maroons win season opener against Flanagan

FLANAGAN -- With the onset of the fall football season, the Clinton Maroons have taken a big step in the right direction. 
The Maroons played the Flanagan-Cornell-Woodland Falcon on the oppositions home turf and came away victorious, and not by margin.

CJHS hosts 3D softball tournament

CLINTON -- On Friday and Saturday, the the Clinton Junior High softball team hosted a 10-team tournament.  The Maroons pool teams were Meridian, Mattoon, Williamsville, Okaw Valley and Eater.  The Gold pool teams were Clinton, Springfield St. Agnes, St.Joseph, Heyworth, and Mahomet-Seymour.
