Local director wants to get the word out about FSA programs

CLINTON — Katie Zuber grew up on a farm outside of Robinson, near Olney, in southern Illinois. “Home of the white squirrels,” people often say to her. “How do they know that,” staff in Zuber’s Clinton office will ask. They just know.

But now, as the area’s new county Farm Service Agency (FSA) executive director, Zuber is concerned local agriculture producers might not be aware of all the ways FSA can help them.
